…but we’ve had a bit of an issue here on the homefront.

Some bastard stole Charlie’s car out of the driveway.

It is (was) one of the last Chevy Camaros- customized and top of the line- other than good food and drink, his only indulgence. And some asshole- an informed asshole- stole it.

That night he had hit a piece of concrete in the road while doing me a favor and going to pick the kiddo up at the movies. The car wasn’t drivable- it had to be towed back to the house at midnight. Between midnight and dawn it was gone.

Quietly, it was gone- the alarm never went off. And obviously, by someone with a tow truck. The only person who knew that one was needed would seem to be the original tow truck driver… not that I wish to cast aspersions :::big eye roll:::

So Charlie’s got a $1000 reward out for information leading to the return of the car. I’ll not post his phone number here, but email him if you there’s anything you have to say about it.

He’s still in mourning, but getting better. He’s an optimist, and will still feel generally upbeat about human beings in general.

I, on the other hand, hold a grudge.
