This conversation happened while bringing the new Senegal into the house on Saturday:
Mom: Gotta work on a name now.
Alison: I was thinking Dewey.
Mom: (pause) Since when are you such a fan of the decimal system?
Alison: (slowly shakes her head) Mom, that’s just sad.
