Rain Wrongness Pt II- Karl Rove’s take.
August 28th, 2008 by Tess
From Wonkette (emphasis mine):
ROVE, YOU SCOURGE: Talking about the possibility of Hurricane Gustav making landfall during the Republican convention, Karl Rove tells Fox News, “The Republicans can’t seem to get a break when it comes to August and when it comes to the weather.” Right in the middle of the president’s vacation, frequently! Stupid asshole weather, poor Republicans.
My favorite comment:
“Brilliant. If it is a glorious night in Denver would that then be proof that God is a Democrat?”
Which, incidentally, it’s supposed to be.
It’s not enough that we’re running around, trying to figure out if we’re supposed to be running around or whether Gustav is going to give us a miss. Now, while we’re stockpiling water, batteries, gas, canned goods and beer we’ve got to remember to feel sorry for the conventioniers, too.
